Baghdad: The head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, received the head of the National Decisiveness Alliance, Thabit al-Abbasi, on Sunday. A statement from al-Halbousi’s office indicated that the meeting addressed the latest political developments in the country and emphasized the importance of continued coordination among political forces and the unification of national efforts to support the government in implementing its program.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion between al-Halbousi and al-Abbasi focused on fostering collaboration among political entities to enhance governmental performance. The leaders stressed the need for political unity to ensure the successful execution of the government’s agenda.
