Baghdad: The Border Ports Authority announced today the reopening of the Al-Abdali border crossing for passenger and trade traffic. This decision follows the completion of essential technical and organizational repairs at the facility.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Kuwait had also announced the reopening of the crossing earlier today. The Al-Abdali border crossing was closed several days ago due to drone strikes that caused material damage. With rehabilitation efforts now complete, cargo and passenger routes have been secured to ensure the continued flow of traffic between the two countries.
