Besiktas Set to Sign Mohamed Salah as Deal Nears Completion


Baghdad: Turkish media reports have confirmed that Besiktas has reached an agreement with Mohamed Salah, the captain of the Egyptian national team, to join the club on a free transfer during the current summer transfer window.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a preliminary agreement has been reached for Salah to sign a contract with Besiktas extending until the summer of 2027. The contract includes an annual salary of £12 million and an option for both parties to extend the contract until the summer of 2028.

Media outlets have indicated that the Besiktas management is optimistic about finalizing the deal soon. The team’s coach, Vincenzo Italiano, has been actively advocating for the signing of the Egyptian captain, pushing the negotiations forward.

Besiktas president Serdal Adali commented that the club’s management is currently finalizing the details before the official announcement. The expectation is that the deal will be completed in the coming days.
