Baghdad: Investigating Judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court, Diaa Jaafar, announced the seizure of 27 billion dinars in connection with the case involving the detained Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Refining Affairs, Adnan al-Jumaili, and other implicated individuals.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Supreme Judicial Council revealed that the financial proceeds were recovered through meticulous follow-up, addressing waste in projects associated with al-Jumaili and other parties. The funds were hidden with several individuals, and investigations are ongoing to identify all those involved.
