Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi received the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Iraq, Andrea Nasi, today at Baghdad Palace, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them were reviewed. The discussions also focused on the development of prospects for joint cooperation in various fields, aimed at serving the mutual interests of the two friendly peoples.
The President praised the efforts made by the Austrian Ambassador during his tenure in Iraq and his role in supporting the course of Iraqi-Austrian relations, wishing him success in his future endeavors. Ambassador Andrea Nasi, in return, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he received in Iraq, emphasizing his country’s keenness to continue strengthening bilateral relations and coordinating on issues of common interest.
