Baghdad: The governor of Tehran, the capital of Iran, arrived in Najaf on Sunday and was received by the governor of Najaf, Yousef Kanawi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Najaf governor’s media office stated that “the visit comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and emphasizing the importance of enhancing joint ties and coordination regarding the millions of pilgrims visiting the holy sites.”
