Tel aviv: The Israeli Security Cabinet has given the green light for the entry of the “Peace Council,” a multinational force, into the Gaza Strip. This initiative is part of a pilot program designed to rehabilitate basic services, deliver humanitarian aid, and establish shelters in regions not governed by the Palestinian Hamas movement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the program is set to commence in the city of Rafah. It will involve the construction of temporary housing units to accommodate residents of the Gaza Strip in specially administered areas. These efforts aim to provide relief to communities that have been adversely affected by ongoing conflicts.

The report further indicates that individuals wishing to reside in these specially administered areas will undergo stringent security checks. This measure is intended to ensure that they have no affiliations with Hamas, thereby maintaining the safety and integrity of the humanitarian mission.
