Karbala: The media monitoring cell held a coordination meeting to organize media work during the Arbaeen pilgrimage in Karbala. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Karbala Police Command and saw participation from key representatives including those from the Media and Communications Commission, the Karbala Governorate Police Command, the Governorate’s Government Media and Communication Department, and media offices of the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the primary focus of the meeting was to lay down preparations for organizing media coverage during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. Participants discussed various organizational procedures for both local and visiting media outlets and journalists in Karbala. They also explored mechanisms to ensure a suitable working environment that facilitates smooth media coverage and enhances coordination among relevant parties.

The attendees issued several recommendations and decisions aimed at supporting journalists in accordance with the requirements of media coverage for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. They focused on ensuring the smooth operation of procedures related to journalistic work during this significant event.
