Baghdad: A child’s life was saved after he drowned in a river in the Al-Faw district, south of Basra. Medical staff at Al-Fayhaa Teaching Hospital in Basra Governorate intervened to save the life of the child, who had been in critical condition following the incident.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Health Department released a statement detailing the efforts of the intensive care unit staff at Al-Fayhaa Teaching Hospital. They successfully stabilized the health of the two-year-old child, who had been unconscious, through a rapid response and intensive medical care. Their efforts ensured the child was out of danger and his life was saved.
