Baghdad: The Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue, Abbas Radi Al-Ameri, announced that the eighth edition of the Baghdad International Dialogue will convene political leaders, along with local and international experts, to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities. The outcomes of this forum are anticipated to bolster the Iraqi state’s efforts and enhance regional and international collaboration.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Ameri stated that the eighth edition will be held under the auspices of the Prime Minister on August 21-22 in Baghdad. The forum aims to review the performance of the first 100 days of the ninth government and discuss Iraq’s strategic shift from crisis management to building partnerships. This year’s theme, “100 Days After the Formation of the Ninth Government: Iraq from Crisis Management to Building Strategic Partnerships,” highlights a pivotal moment for Iraq and the region. The event will serve as a national and international platform to evaluate the new government’s work, discuss future priorities, and present Iraq’s vision for enhancing security, stability, and development.

Al-Ameri emphasized that the forum will gather prominent political leaders, decision-makers, thinkers, experts, and academics from Iraq, the region, and beyond. Their goal is to exchange views on key regional and international challenges and explore cooperation and partnership opportunities that support development and stability.
