Kirkuk: Kirkuk has announced plans to provide facilities for visitors from Iran, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. The head of the Higher Security Committee and Governor of Kirkuk, Muhammad Saman Agha, has directed security agencies within the Kirkuk Governorate to ensure that all necessary facilities are available for foreign pilgrims. These visitors are arriving via Kirkuk International Airport or the northern border crossings of the governorate, with the aim of traveling to the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf for the Arba’een commemoration of Imam Hussein.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor Agha emphasized the significant support and assistance being extended to Iranian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani pilgrims by the security forces and relevant agencies. He praised the coordination and cooperation efforts in place, which he says reflect the stature of Iraq and the Kirkuk Governorate.
