Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, offered his condolences today, Sunday, to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the death of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in Doha.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Judicial Media Office stated in a press release that “the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, offered his condolences today, Sunday, to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the death of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, during a visit to his office at Lusail Palace in Doha.”

“Judge Zaidan expressed his condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, praying to God Almighty to have mercy on the deceased and grant him a place in Paradise,” according to the statement.
