Baghdad: Tomorrow, trains will begin operating to transport visitors to the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The Iraqi General Company for Railways is launching its plan to operate trains transporting pilgrims to the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) from Baghdad, Basra, Diwaniyah, and Nasiriyah to Karbala, starting tomorrow, Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this initiative aims to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and ensure a smooth journey to one of the most significant religious events in the region. The rail service is expected to accommodate the large influx of visitors heading to Karbala for the pilgrimage, which commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.

The train services will run from major cities including Baghdad, Basra, Diwaniyah, and Nasiriyah, offering a crucial transportation option for the millions of attendees anticipated.
