Tehran: The commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Ismail Qaani, has called on Riyadh to end its blockade on Yemen and redirect its resources to support Palestine. Qaani emphasized that lifting the eleven-year-long blockade on Yemen is a legitimate and humanitarian demand from the country’s oppressed people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Qaani stated, “I hope the Saudi government will learn from the experience of America’s irrational and costly actions and end the blockade of Muslim Yemen.” He further urged Saudi Arabia to use its resources to aid the Palestinian people and oppose the actions of the Zionist entity, rather than continuing the conflict and pressure on Yemen.

Qaani highlighted that aiding oppressed Gaza should be seen as a source of pride, contrasting it with the ongoing blockade affecting the Yemeni people.
