Baghdad: The Parliamentary Committee on Electricity and Energy convened a joint meeting this afternoon with the Minister of Electricity, Ali Saadi Wahib, to examine the ongoing crisis affecting the national power grid during the current summer season.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker of Parliament has already arranged a session for the upcoming Monday. This session will focus on the worsening electricity supply and services crisis, with the Minister of Electricity expected to be present.
