Baghdad: The General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, through its Administrative, Financial, and Legal Department, organized an intellectual seminar titled “In the Realm of the Arba’een Pilgrimage.” This event was held in partnership with the National Center for Quranic Sciences and aimed to draw inspiration from the human values associated with the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the seminar featured a lecture by Sheikh Dr. Iyad Abbas Rashid Al-Kaabi, who heads the Quranic Activities Division at the National Center for Quranic Sciences. He addressed the intellectual and humanitarian aspects of Imam Hussein’s revolution, focusing on the messages of reform, justice, and human dignity conveyed by the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The pilgrimage is recognized as one of the largest peaceful human gatherings globally.

The symposium underscored the significance of Arbaeen, highlighting its role in fostering societal unity, national cohesion, and a culture of tolerance and coexistence. The discussions emphasized the importance of values such as altruism, respect, good character, and service to others. These values reflect the cultural identity of Iraqi society and showcase its authentic human values.
