Baghdad: President Nizar Amedi and Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Chairman Faleh al-Fayyad emphasized on Monday the importance of establishing security and stability and keeping the country out of regional conflicts.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Presidency indicated that “President Nizar Amedi received PMF Chairman Faleh al-Fayyad.” During their meeting, they discussed the security situation in the country and regional developments. Both leaders stressed the importance of establishing security and stability, keeping the country out of regional conflicts, and working to reduce tensions and defuse crises.

The statement also noted that the sacrifices made by the security forces in all their branches were praised, and the need to preserve the security achievements was emphasized.
