Samarra: During his visit to the Al-Askari Shrine in Samarra, Salah al-Din Governor Haitham al-Zahwan discussed preparations for receiving pilgrims during the Arba’een pilgrimage. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the governorate’s media office stated in a press release that service, security, and organizational plans were discussed. The discussions included coordination mechanisms between government departments and relevant authorities, aiming to provide the best possible services to pilgrims and ensure the smooth flow of those arriving in the city.

The governor emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and joint coordination among all institutions. This would contribute to the success of the Arba’een pilgrimage and ensure a suitable environment for receiving the millions of pilgrims coming to the shrine of the two Imams al-Askari.
