Baghdad: The Minister of Education has directed that five marks be granted to address critical cases among students in non-graduating classes. The Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, has issued instructions to universities to implement this measure.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Higher Education highlighted the initiative as a means to support students’ academic progress. The directive by Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi aims to provide additional academic support to help students overcome challenges they may face during their studies.

The statement emphasized that this decision stems from the Minister’s concern for students’ circumstances and aims to offer flexibility for intervention in critical cases. This is to be done in accordance with existing regulations and instructions, ensuring the integrity of the educational and academic process is maintained.
