Digital media center: The Digital Media Center (DMC) confirmed a sudden glitch on the Instagram platform that resulted in the deletion and suspension of dozens of accounts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the center explained that the deletion and suspension of dozens of user accounts on Instagram was due to a malfunction in the artificial intelligence systems. These systems were making rapid decisions to delete or suspend accounts based on malicious or false reports, without sufficient human review, even though many of the deleted accounts had not committed any violations.

The Digital Media Center called on Meta, the owner of Instagram, to intervene urgently to address this malfunction and restore the affected accounts as quickly as possible.
