Baghdad: The Parliamentary Finance Committee hosted Osama Majeed, head of the Reconstruction Fund for Poorest Provinces, on Monday to discuss four issues. A reporter for the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported that “the Parliamentary Finance Committee hosted Osama Majeed, head of the Reconstruction Fund for Poorest Provinces, to discuss various issues.”

According to Iraqi News Agency, the committee will discuss with the head of the Reconstruction Fund the financial allocations earmarked for the fund over the past three years, the amount of funds disbursed, and the fund’s plan to support investment projects in the covered provinces over the next three years.

The meeting will also address the criteria and standards for selecting investment projects covered by the fund, and the fund’s structure as approved by the Council of Ministers.
