Riyadh: The Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, announced on Monday that it had launched drone strikes targeting several sensitive sites associated with crude oil supply and transport in Saudi Arabia. The movement claims these actions were a response to violations of Yemeni airspace by Saudi drones.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Houthis, stated that their armed forces specifically targeted crucial points related to Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure. The strikes were aimed at locations extending from the eastern regions of Saudi Arabia to the city of Yanbu. The Houthis assert that these attacks were carried out using drones, highlighting the strategic importance of the targeted sites to Saudi oil supply and transport routes.
