Anbar: Military intelligence detachments arrested five ISIS members. A statement from the Military Intelligence Directorate said that in a high-quality intelligence operation, detachments from the Military Intelligence Directorate raided what is called the ‘House of Muslims’ belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization in Anbar.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, under the direct supervision of the Director of Military Intelligence, and in accordance with the approach adopted by the Directorate in carrying out proactive intelligence operations, the heroes of the Intelligence and Security Department of the Seventh Infantry Division were able to raid a house that was used by the ISIS terrorist organization, before the liberation of the cities from its defilement, as a headquarters for what is called the ‘House of Muslims.’ This house was designated for distributing funds that the organization called ‘Zakat,’ in the Rawah district of Anbar province.

The operation resulted in the arrest of five suspects who were occupying the house, in accordance with Article (1/4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law. During the raid, cash, checks, weapons, ammunition, extremist religious books, and various food and medical supplies were seized inside the premises.

The statement indicated that the suspects and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities to take legal action against them.
