Head of Security Media Cell Discusses Key Files with Intelligence Directorate

Baghdad: The head of the Security Media Cell, Lieutenant General Dr. Saad Maan, recently visited the General Directorate of Intelligence and Counterterrorism at the Ministry of Interior's Agency for Federal Intelligence and Investigations. He was welcomed by the Director General during this significant meeting.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on several topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance coordination and cooperation between the two entities. This initiative aims to bolster efforts within established institutional frameworks and aligns with the directives of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. The meeting highlighted a commitment to elevating security and military cooperation and coordination among related institutions.

Both parties acknowledged the General Directorate of Intelligence and Counterterrorism as an advanced directorate, recognized for its expertise and competencies in the field. This acknowledgment strengthens its role in effectively executing its security and intelligence responsibilities.

The discussion also underscored the importance of continued collaboration and integration between security and military institutions and the judiciary. The judiciary plays a crucial role in supporting security efforts, upholding the rule of law, and achieving justice, thereby serving the public interest and enhancing the country's security and stability.
