Baghdad: Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (ICTS) announced on Wednesday the arrest of a "military detachment commander" belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs west of Baghdad.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Service stated that a special force from the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out a high-level security operation based on precise intelligence monitoring of ISIS remnants. The operation led to the arrest of a terrorist identified as (Abu Nour), also known as (H.T.), who held the position of a "commander of a military detachment" within the ISIS terrorist gangs.
The statement further revealed that the operation involved setting up a well-planned ambush in areas west of Baghdad. Intelligence reports suggest that the captured individual participated in numerous criminal operations targeting security forces and civilians.
