Kyiv: Officials stated that Russian forces launched an attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, using ballistic missiles early Wednesday morning. The city's military administration reported that fires broke out in buildings used as warehouses in two districts of the capital. They warned that "the level of danger remains high."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported via Telegram that emergency teams had been dispatched to the site of one of the strikes in a northern suburb. He noted that air defense units were actively responding to the attack.

The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that the missiles were launched toward the city, which has a population of three million, from at least two different directions.
