Abu dhabi: A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, led by Dr. Ali bin Tamim, the Centre's Chairman, visited the Republic of North Macedonia to explore opportunities for academic and cultural cooperation. The visit aimed to establish sustainable partnerships with educational and cultural institutions in preparation for the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026, scheduled to take place at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center from September 13 to 18, 2026.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit seeks to strengthen ties with academic, cultural, and heritage institutions in North Macedonia. The delegation explored opportunities for Macedonian publishing houses, museums, national libraries, and cultural institutions to participate in the upcoming book fair's events. Additionally, the visit focused on supporting Arabic language education in universities, promoting translation and publishing efforts, and collaborating on preserving and digitizing documentary heritage. These initiatives aim to enhance cultural and intellectual exchange between Abu Dhabi and North Macedonia.
