Baghdad: After luring him from outside Iraq, intelligence and security forces arrested a suspect under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law at Baghdad International Airport. The Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of a suspect under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law after luring him from outside Iraq to Baghdad International Airport.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a press release that, in a precise and high-quality operation planned by the Special Intelligence Missions Cell of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security, a suspect was arrested under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law after being lured from outside Iraq, following the issuance of an arrest warrant against him by the Tal Afar Investigation Court.

It explained that a well-planned ambush was set up at Baghdad International Airport immediately upon his return from Turkey, in possession of only a transit passport. He was then handed over to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.
