Maximum Alert Level Lifted for Armed Forces Following Successful Arba’een Pilgrimage

Baghdad: A security source announced that the highest alert level (C) for the armed forces will be lifted and units will return to normal within the next few hours. This decision follows the successful completion of the security plan for the Arba'een pilgrimage and the conclusion of the reverse movement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the alert level had been heightened to ensure the safety and security of millions of pilgrims participating in the Arba'een pilgrimage, a significant event. The security forces implemented comprehensive measures to manage the large crowds and ensure the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

The reduction in the alert level signals a return to routine operations for the armed forces. The security source indicated that all units are expected to resume their standard duties as the situation stabilizes. The successful execution of the security plan has been attributed to coordinated efforts among various security agencies.
