Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi emphasized on Saturday the importance of developing bilateral relations between Iraq and the Czech Republic. "President Amidi received the Czech Republic's Ambassador to Iraq, Jan ‚¬¦ naidauf, in Baghdad," stated the Presidential Media Office in a press release reported by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Amidi stressed "the importance of developing bilateral relations between Iraq and the Czech Republic and working to expand cooperation in the economic, investment, educational, and cultural fields." 'Iraq adopts a balanced foreign policy based on strengthening its relations with friendly countries, in a way that supports sustainable development, the exchange of expertise, and the achievement of mutual interests," noted Amidi.
In turn, Ambassador ‚¬¦ naidauf affirmed "his country's keenness to develop its relations with Iraq and expand cooperation in various fields," expressing "his appreciation for the positive steps Iraq is witnessing in terms of development and openness."
