President Amidi and Sheikh Khazali Call for Enhanced National Dialogue

Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi and Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, have jointly highlighted the necessity of strengthening the foundations of understanding and maintaining dialogue and coordination among national forces. The focus of their discourse was on fostering national unity and advancing the country's development agenda.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Presidential Media Office released a statement following a meeting between President Amidi and Sheikh al-Khazali. The meeting covered the political, security, and economic situation in Iraq and explored ways to support the government's ministerial program aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of the citizens. The President emphasized the need for deepened understanding among political forces and called for intensified efforts to consolidate security and stability while supporting state institutions. He underscored the importance of prioritizing the national interest, unifying ranks, and working with a sense of responsibility to preserve Iraq's unity and sovereignty.

Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, during the meeting, reiterated the importance of continued dialogue and coordination among national forces. He emphasized the need to support initiatives that enhance Iraq's stability and safeguard the interests of its people. Sheikh al-Khazali also highlighted the significance of overcoming current challenges and advancing the process of reconstruction and development.
