Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi met with the heads of the Martyrs Foundation and the Political Prisoners Foundation, Abdul-Ilah al-Naili and Walid al-Sahlani, to discuss matters related to the work of the two institutions and ways to improve services provided to the families of martyrs and political prisoners.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office detailed that Al-Zaidi received the head of the Martyrs Foundation, Abdul-Ilah al-Naili, and the head of the Political Prisoners Foundation, Walid al-Sahlani, with the Minister of Finance, Faleh Sari, also in attendance. The meeting focused on discussing several issues related to the operations of the two institutions and exploring methods to enhance services for the families of martyrs and political prisoners, ensuring the fulfillment of their financial and administrative obligations.
Al-Zaidi emphasized the necessity of aligning the work of all institutions with the government's program, which includes reform plans aimed at reinforcing justice and fairness for all segments of society, particularly for those who have made sacrifices.
