Baghdad: Fly Baghdad is exempt from US sanctions. The US Treasury Department announced on Wednesday amendments to the sanctions list of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), including the removal of Fly Baghdad and two of its aircraft from the Specially Designated Nationals list.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the department's statement clarified, "The removal decision included Fly Baghdad, also known as Iraq Express, along with the two aircraft registered as YI-BAF and YI-BAN, which were previously subject to US sanctions."
