Najaf: The Al-Alawi Shrine has significantly enhanced its water services to cater to the needs of Arbaeen pilgrims, providing over 12 million liters of water daily. The Engineering Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali has taken measures to ensure a steady supply of both potable and raw water throughout the city of Najaf during the pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Engineer Fadhil al-Tabatabai, head of the Water Production Unit, stated in a press release that the unit is producing 4 million liters of reverse osmosis (RO) drinking water daily and 8 million liters of raw water. This production is part of an integrated system designed to maintain a continuous water supply during the massive influx of pilgrims.

Al-Tabatabai also mentioned that the unit has established 14 outlets for water tankers, ensuring the needs of the Husseini processions and health complexes are met. Additionally, strategic reservoirs with a capacity exceeding 5 million liters have been set aside as a reserve to address any emergencies.

These actions are part of a comprehensive service plan devoted to accommodating Arba'een pilgrims. All available resources have been committed to providing essential services to the millions visiting the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful.
