Russian Defense Ministry Reports Downing of 274 Ukrainian Drones Across Multiple Regions

Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 274 Ukrainian drones last night. The drones were reportedly targeting Moscow and various areas in the southwest of the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense detailed that the drones were intercepted in a wide range of regions. These areas include Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tula, Moscow, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, as well as the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

The incident underscores ongoing tensions and the scale of drone activity in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The Ministry did not provide details on the methods used to shoot down the drones or the potential impact on the targeted regions.
