Judiciary and Counter-Terrorism Agency Discuss Joint Coordination to Ensure Rule of Law

Baghdad: The judiciary and the counter-terrorism agency are engaging in discussions to enhance cooperation and joint coordination aimed at upholding the rule of law. This initiative was highlighted in a recent meeting between key figures from both entities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, met with Lieutenant General Zaid Hawshi, the newly appointed Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service. During their meeting, Judge Zaidan congratulated Lieutenant General Hawshi on his new role and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the judiciary and the Counter-Terrorism Service.

The Supreme Judicial Council released a statement indicating that the meeting took place on Thursday morning. The discussions focused on strategies to ensure that the judiciary and the Counter-Terrorism Service work together effectively to establish and maintain the rule of law.
