Iraqi Parliament to Conduct Eighth Session with Key Legislative Readings

Baghdad: The House of Representatives in Iraq is set to convene for its eighth session on Sunday. This session is anticipated to address several critical legislative matters.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agenda for this upcoming session includes the first reading of the Juvenile Welfare Law. Additionally, the parliament will undertake the first reading of the proposed second amendment to the Mukhtars Law No. (13) of 2011. Furthermore, the session will also involve the second reading of the proposed twenty-second amendment to the Landlords Law No. (25) of 1960.
