Baghdad: Rafidain Bank announced today, Sunday, the commencement of distributing August salaries for retirees and those covered by the social safety net through electronic payment methods.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the bank's media office stated in a press release that the distribution of salaries for civilian and military retirees has begun. Retirees who receive text messages can collect their salaries from any location.

Rafidain Bank also announced the release of August salaries for those covered by the social safety net. In a second statement, the bank's media office said that salaries for men and women covered by the social safety net have been distributed. It added that the disbursement was made through electronic payment methods, and any eligible citizen who received a text message can collect their salary from the bank's network of branches throughout Baghdad and the provinces, or from designated exchange offices, or from any location.
