Al-Eidani Acknowledges Basra’s Contribution to Arbaeen Pilgrimage Services

Karbala: Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani met with the Assistant Director of Basra Municipalities, Redha Al-Tamimi, in the holy city of Karbala to discuss the services provided to pilgrims during the Arba'een of Imam Hussein.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Eidani highlighted Basra Governorate's leadership among other governorates in terms of logistical support and the number of vehicles allocated to aid pilgrims. He expressed gratitude for the service personnel's efforts and issued a letter of thanks, along with a financial reward, to acknowledge their dedication and commitment.

In addition to these discussions, the Basra Governor also conferred with the Governor of Karbala and the Director of the Prime Minister's Office, Ihsan Al-Awadi. Both officials praised the local government's support from Basra, emphasizing its crucial role in ensuring the success of the Arba'een pilgrimage plan.
