Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization predicted a continued rise in temperatures over the coming days. It indicated that temperatures will reach 50 degrees Celsius tomorrow, Tuesday, in Baghdad and several other governorates.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the weather forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, is for clear skies across the country, with scattered clouds in some parts of the central and southern regions and the eastern parts of the northern region. The statement from the organization added that maximum temperatures tomorrow will be 50 degrees Celsius in Baghdad, Dhi Qar, Maysan, and Basra; 49 degrees Celsius in Muthanna, Najaf, Karbala, Diwaniyah, Wasit, and Babylon; 48 degrees Celsius in Diyala, Salah al-Din, and Kirkuk; 46 degrees Celsius in Anbar and Erbil; 45 degrees Celsius in Sulaymaniyah; 47 degrees Celsius in Nineveh; and 44 degrees Celsius in Dohuk.
The statement also noted that the weather forecast for Wednesday is for clear skies across the country, with some clouds in the eastern parts of the central and southern regions, and temperatures will be similar to those recorded the previous day in all regions.
He added that the weather on Thursday and Friday will be clear, with temperatures similar to previous days across the country.
