Baghdad: The Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the commencement of procedures to address wasted service. In a statement, the Ministry of Defense said that "the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Shwan Mazhar Ali Rawanduzi, directed the commencement of procedures to address the wasted service file, in accordance with legal frameworks, regulations, and applicable instructions, to ensure the completion of this file with complete fairness and transparency."
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rawanduzi emphasized the importance of full adherence to the applicable regulations and instructions, stressing the need to adopt the highest standards of professionalism and impartiality at all stages of the process, to guarantee the preservation of the rights of those entitled.
He added that "the specialized committees have begun their work to audit and study the applications in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring that everyone receives their due rights, without any other considerations, and in a manner that reinforces the principles of justice, integrity, and transparency in completing this file."
