Russian Forces Capture Strategic Towns in Kharkiv Region

Kharkiv: Russian forces have taken control of the towns of Bely Kolodze and Ustinovka in the Kharkiv region. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the capture of these strategic locations, marking a significant development in their ongoing military operations in Ukraine.

The ministry revealed in a press release that Russian forces successfully shot down seven guided bombs, five HIMARS missiles, and 651 Ukrainian drones. Additionally, they destroyed a Ukrainian drone boat in the Black Sea, further weakening Ukrainian military capabilities.

The announcement also detailed Russian forces' strategic targeting of Ukrainian logistical centers and temporary staging areas for foreign mercenaries. These actions are part of a broader effort to disrupt Ukrainian military operations and diminish their support infrastructure.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian forces have suffered substantial losses, with approximately 1,295 soldiers affected. The ministry also noted the destruction of over 196,000 Ukrainian drones since the commencement of the special military operation, highlighting the intensity and scale of the ongoing conflict.
