Supreme Council Focuses on Non-Oil Resource Management and Liquidity Assurance

Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi chaired the second session of the Supreme Council for Financial and Monetary Stability, collaborating with heads and directors of key organizations.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the session covered national financial, monetary, and economic issues, alongside current indicators and challenges. Discussions aimed at enhancing coordination between fiscal and monetary policies to promote economic stability.

The council focused on improving non-oil resource management and ensuring liquidity. It also supported economic and banking reform efforts, enhancing financial system efficiency to create a sustainable economic environment.

Prime Minister Al-Zaidi stressed the necessity of coordination among ministries and institutions. He urged the implementation of the council's decisions and recommendations, addressing financial and monetary challenges to maintain stability, strengthen the national economy, and stimulate non-oil economic activities.
