Baghdad: Iraq's National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Aboudi stated on Sunday that Iraq endorses dialogue as the primary approach to resolving conflicts and reinforcing peace across the region.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the National Security Adviser's Media Office released a statement revealing that Al-Aboudi hosted French Charg© d'Affaires to Iraq, Beno®t Combourieu. The dialogue between the two officials centered on evaluating the friendship and cooperation between Iraq and France, as well as exploring avenues for enhancing bilateral relations to benefit both nations and their citizens.

During their discussions, both parties underscored the significance of de-escalation in the region, advocating for a return to dialogue and diplomacy as the optimal means for addressing the ongoing disputes and conflicts. Al-Aboudi reiterated Iraq's dedication to dialogue as a strategy for conflict resolution, with the broader goal of achieving stability and development that prioritizes the welfare of states and their populations over warfare and destruction.

Furthermore, Al-Aboudi emphasized that Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi is focused on constructing national institutions capable of independent sovereign decision-making.
