Najaf: Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, chaired a significant conference on Sunday to discuss the implementation of the plan to commemorate the death of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The meeting included the head of the Services Committee for the Million-Person Pilgrimages, several security commanders, intelligence officials, representatives from the Popular Mobilization Forces, and other relevant entities. Additionally, representatives from holy shrines, local governments, and service and health departments in the governorates of Najaf, Karbala, and Diwaniyah were present to focus on securing the commemoration in Najaf.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Director's office highlighted several key points emphasized to ensure the success of this occasion. The Director received a comprehensive briefing on the security plan from the Najaf Police Chief and the Border Guard Commander, detailing support within this sector.

The head of the Services Committee also elaborated on the preparatory measures related to the pilgrimage with the attendees. Both the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the Head of the Service Committee acknowledged the successful execution of the Arba'een pilgrimage and appreciated the collective efforts of all those involved.
