Diyala: A joint security force dismantled a network trafficking in firearms in Diyala. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a joint force from the Diyala Police and detachments from the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime, in a well-executed ambush, managed to apprehend two suspects representing a firearms trafficking network and seized two Kalashnikov rifles and two pistols in their possession.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the security forces are continuing to monitor and pursue arms dealers and take legal action against anyone who attempts to traffic or promote weapons, in order to contribute to strengthening security and stability and reducing crime in the province.
