Baghdad: The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, recently hosted a delegation from the "Messengers of Giving" organization, which advocates for people with special needs, and the Friends of Thalassemia organization. The meeting focused on evaluating the current healthcare services available to these groups and exploring avenues for enhancement.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister underscored the ministry's dedication to advancing healthcare services for individuals with special needs and those affected by thalassemia. He highlighted the ministry's efforts in ensuring the provision of necessary medications and medical supplies. Dr. Al-Moussawi also stressed the importance of collaboration and coordination with relevant organizations to effectively support their health requirements and elevate the quality of services delivered to them.
