Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi has issued a parliamentary order appointing journalist Jaafar al-Wannan as advisor for cultural and media affairs to the Speaker of Parliament.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this appointment places Al-Wannan in a significant advisory role, where he will be responsible for overseeing and guiding cultural and media-related initiatives and strategies in the parliamentary framework. Al-Wannan’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to bolster the communication and cultural outreach efforts of the Speaker’s office.
