Basra: Iraqi Airways announced on Monday the resumption of its Basra-Delhi route. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company stated in a press release that the Basra-Delhi air route between Iraq and India has resumed operations starting from the 18th of this month, with one flight per week every Tuesday.

The company added that the route, which was suspended at the beginning of March due to the circumstances in the region, will be reactivated taking advantage of the current calm and in light of the increased travel demand between the two countries. The company further explained that it continues to increase the number of its destinations and activate routes between Iraqi and international airports, having opened and resumed more than 10 routes in the past two months.
