Baghdad: The Ministry of Communications has clarified that there is no forced shutdown of wireless tower services, dispelling circulating rumors. This confirmation came through a statement issued on Monday, ensuring that the public and service providers are informed of the current status of wireless communications.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Communications released a statement emphasizing that the decision aligns with directives from the Minister of Communications, Mustafa Sand. The statement clearly mentioned, “Based on the directives of the Minister of Communications, Mustafa Sand, there is no forced shutdown of wireless tower services.”

Furthermore, the Ministry highlighted its commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance by stating that legal actions will be initiated against any entities found combining internet services in ways that infringe upon established regulations and instructions.
